Bristol Skateboarding Photography (Friction Collective)

I’ve recently stumbled across the Instagram account of a group of Bristol-based creatives called the Friction Collective, they are photographers, cinematographers, animators, writers, sound technicians and designers.

For a few years I’ve been interested in skating culture and the graphics and photography that go with it. On the Friction Collective website is an article by Fin Davies (MD of Friction Collective) about photos he took when skateboarding first arrived in Bristol back in 1976.
